Hallo, ek is Heide.
Ek is 'n mamma en 'n ouma wat op 'n punt in my lewe gekom het waar ek geweet het: genoeg is genoeg.
Aan die einde van 2024 het ek een van die moeilikste besluite van my lewe geneem. Ek het uit my werk bedank en die onbekende ingestap, met die vertroue dat God iets groter vir my lewe beplan het.
Toe, in Mei 2025, het ons lewe weer onverwags verander.
My man is met kanker gediagnoseer.
Skielik het nie een van ons meer 'n inkomste gehad nie.
En hierdie pad was nie vir my onbekend nie.
In 2019 het ek self my kankerreis gestap. Ek ken die vrees, die onsekerheid, die emosionele pyn en die finansiΓ«le druk wat dit saambring.
En nou moes ons hierdie pad saam stap.
In daardie oomblik het ek gebid:
"Here, as dit die pad is wat ons moet stap, dan sal ons dit stap... maar nie sonder 'n doel nie."
Die werklikheid het ons hard getref.
Mediese uitgawes. Daaglikse rekeninge. Slapelose nagte. En die aanhoudende vraag:
"Hoe gaan ons deur hierdie tyd kom?"
'Mei 2026, nΓ‘ ontelbare gebede en baie gesprekke met God, het ek op 'n video afgekom.
Net voordat ek dit gekyk het, het ek 'n eenvoudige gebed gebid:
"Jesus, lei my asseblief. Wys my die regte pad. Ek is gereed."
